Today is the world Water Day 2026 ( 22nd March, 2026 ). This is a great day celebrated to spread awareness on water Pollution and take action against it.
Origin of World Water Day
It was first observed on 1993, in Brazil and first celebrated by United Nation ( UN ).
Purpose
The sole purpose of celebrating Water Day, is to spread awareness among the billions of people to save water and prevent water pollution.
How can we participate ?
1. We can participate by posting on social media with hastags,#worldwaterday2026.
2. You can write articles, poems, short stories, essays to spread awareness through narrative advocacy.
3. You can also participate World Water Day by not wasting the water at home and you can advice others too, not to waste water.
4. If you live along the coastline, you can also make a commitment to make the water and the water shore, Plastic free.
5. For the four point, you can also advice not to waste water.
