International Biodiversity Day 2026

Every year, International Biodiversity Day is  observed on 22nd May in the whole world.

The day reminds us that the humen are not the only ones who have the right to live but the birds, elephants, mice, Turtles, lions, tigers and even the smallest microbes are also having the rights to live on this earth equally and with high heads.

Yet due to global warming and Humen deads, many animels extinct and still now going towards extinction.

Recently, in 2024 Indian Cheetahs of India, Ou bird of Hawaii, Key Largo Cactus trees are all became extinct. While, the most recent extinct species is Curlew bird of Africa.

The International Biodiversity Day reminds us to reserve the other species and animels. Their maybe less or many, the dignity of the animels should be maintained and respected. Otherwise, one day will come when there will be only humen on thia earth and nothing else. Will that be good ?

Never! As our environment creates a balance  and connects with every species. If all the species got extinct, then us, _Homo Sapiens_ , will also extinct one day, that maybe later but will certainly be.

But, still we have time. Reserve the species. Ban hunting and poaching. Ban the deforestation and promote afforestation. Don't dump plastics here and there or use the 4Rs (recently, it becomes 6Rs). Help others and intend yourselves to keep air, water and land clean.

These are the few ways we can still protect our earth, because this is the Earth which is all  common of us !
